This Privacy Policy describes how Masonic Reach (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Masonic Reach member application and related SMS services at masonicreach.com.

1. Who we are

Masonic Reach is a member operations application for Freemasons (lodge members and district officers). Contact us at masonicreach.admin@gmail.com. For Sixth District administrative questions, contact your District Admin through the app or the same email.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

Account information — name, email, lodge affiliation, role, and credentials you provide when you create or manage an account.
Mobile phone number — when you choose to enable SMS for account and lodge notices, or when you use one-time passcode (OTP) verification.
SMS consent and preferences — records that you opted in or opted out of Masonic Reach SMS.
Usage and device data — basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the app (for example, timestamps and error diagnostics).
Content you submit — information you enter in the app for member operations (for example, calendar or account notices you are authorized to send or view).

3. How we use information

We use information to:

Provide and secure your Masonic Reach account.
Send transactional member-ops SMS when you have opted in (for example, meeting and degree reminders and account notices).
Send OTP verification codes through a separate Twilio Verify path (not the A2P Campaign messaging program).
Respond to support requests (including HELP replies and email).
Honor opt-out requests (including STOP).
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

We do not use your phone number for marketing promotions, advertising, or charity solicitations.

4. SMS / Masonic Reach SMS program

If you opt in to SMS in the Masonic Reach app by providing your mobile number and consenting to receive SMS for account notices, you may receive messages from the Masonic Reach SMS program. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or email masonicreach.admin@gmail.com. Program SMS may be sent only by authorized roles: District Admin, DDGM (District Deputy Grand Master), District Secretary, and Owner. OTP codes use Twilio Verify and are separate from Campaign member-ops notices.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

Service providers that help us operate the service, including SMS and verification providers (for example, Twilio) under their terms and our instructions.
Authorized district/lodge operators as needed to deliver member-ops functions you participate in.
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.

6. Retention

We retain account and SMS-related records as long as needed to operate the service, honor opt-outs, meet security and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. OTP verification data is handled according to the verification provider’s short-lived verification flow and our operational needs.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices

Update account information in the app where available.
Opt out of Masonic Reach SMS by replying STOP or adjusting SMS preferences in the app.

9. Children

Masonic Reach is intended for adult Freemasons and authorized officers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where consent is required by law.
